The Office of External Relations is responsible for securing private support, alumni programming and communications services for alumni, donors, and friends.
The Office of External Relations provides advice and assistance to individuals who are interested in making financial contributions to the University. Gifts through the Annual Fund support today’s critical needs. Support for students to attend professional meetings, the latest technology and instructional needs are a few examples of activities made possible through annual gifts. Individuals interested in supporting these areas may do so by contacting the Director of External Relations or they can make a gift on-line.
Gifts to establish endowments are an investment in the future.
These gifts, whether through cash, securities, life insurance, or charitable annuities and trusts provide critical support in perpetuity. A named faculty position, a lecture series, undergraduate scholarships and graduate fellowships are all made possible with endowment gifts. For more information contact the Director of External Relations, Emy Jones, at email@example.com
The office, through the Ex Alumni Association, organizes several alumni outreach events each year. The staff publishes a biannual alumni bulletin, UNA VOX, that highlights news about the University and the achievements of our graduates. For more information, contact Claudia Evans, Director of the Association, Alumni Relations & Annual Giving, at firstname.lastname@example.org
The communications program involves managing the University’s major publications, such as UNA VOX and the Annual Report, and overseeing media relations endeavors such as news releases and tipsheets. For more information, contact Joseph Vinkel, Assistant Director of Communications, at email@example.com
